The Getaway Grille & Cubbie Bar was established in 1983 and immediately became a local favorite.

‘The little hole in the wall’ is owned by Carl, Sanae and Tom Ackerman (who scouted with the Cubs in the mid 90’s) and is a Cubs fans paradise.

You will see ample reasons why Cubs fans travel from all around the country to visit. From menu items named after Cubs players to singing happy birthday to the tune of “Take me out to the Ballgame,” it’s a definite must-see for loyal Cubs fans.
